 History

The name “AMEN” is the acronym. AMEN was derived from African Mission Evangelism of Nations, a ministry of Dr. (Rev.) Joseph Olufemi O. Adeosun. A man gifted in the 5-fold ministry (Eph. 4:11) with a vision to go to the whole world through Evangelism and Teaching.

Rev. Adeosun received the mandate in his home country of Nigeria, West Africa, in 1980 but did not step out until the mid-80's after a series of prayers with fasting during which God gave him definite instructions for his specific ministry thrust. He has since been occupied with crusades, conferences and seminars of 50 to 5,000 people in attendance. The preacher himself also participates in similar meetings both in Europe and the United States of America.
